I almost always have a camera with me, either in my purse or in my pocket. I prefer the ease of use of my handy-dandy, Nikon Coolpix digital camera. Actually, I really want a Nikon D7000, but I’m about $1400 short, so I’ve chosen to be content with what I have.
As an artist I find myself consistently attracted to shifting patterns in nature and things man-made. I’m intrigued by the tension between these two, especially when what is man-made slowly crumbles and is overtaken by nature. It’s a kind of revelation of man’s puniness in the face of God’s infinite strength and sovereignty. As you’ll see in this gallery, I’ve a particular penchant for the beauty of the countryside. Enjoy!
